In most cases however, credit checks are nonexistent so you are more than likely to get the money you need very quickly.  In many cases the money arrives in the borrower’s bank account later the same day – perfect for an emergency situation.  But there are one or two basics you will need in order to apply.  One, you may need to be in some form of employment.  This is always stated in the loan terms but given the idea of a payday loan or bad credit loans is to tide you over until the next payday, generally the borrower needs to have some form of job.  However, this can include self-employed people so it is not difficult to be included in the criteria.  Finally, you will probably need to be at least 18 years old and a UK resident.
